Account is Disabled Temporarily

If you encounter the error message “The account sign-in was incorrect or your account is disabled temporarily” during login, it typically indicates an incorrect email or password entry.

Why This Happens

You are allowed up to 60 login attempts. If all attempts fail (e.g., due to incorrect credentials), your account will be temporarily disabled for 10 minutes. After that period, you can attempt to log in again.

Steps to Resolve

  • Double-Check Your Credentials
    • Ensure that your email address and password are entered correctly.
    • Watch for typos and check if Caps Lock is on.
  • Reset Your Password
    • If you're unable to recall your password:
      • Click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link on the login page.
      • Enter the email address associated with your account.
      • You will receive a password reset email. Follow the link provided in the message.
    • The reset link is valid for 48 hours.

    • It can be used only once. After it’s been used or expires, you must request a new one.

If You Do Not Receive the Reset Email

    • Verify Your Email Address
      • Ensure that you entered the correct email address associated with your account.
    • Request Another Reset Link
      • If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, try requesting another password reset link.
