Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
1. Prepare Your Art Stack
- Attach your art to the mat board or backing board.
- Peel off any protective layers from the acrylic, and place the acrylic on top of your art.
- Set this entire stack aside for later.
2. Begin Frame Assembly
- Note: Mitered corners can be sharp. Handle with care.
- Start with the frame section that will be the bottom of the frame. Place it face down with the channel side facing up.
- Place one threaded plate and one backing plate into the hardware track, with the words facing up. Gently tighten them in place.
- Important: Do NOT fully tighten any screws until the frame is fully assembled.
- Attach the frame sides by sliding the back channel into the angled plates and aligning the mitered ends. Gently tighten the screws.
3. Insert Art Stack and Add the Top of the Frame
- Turn the frame upright and slide the prepared art stack into the frame's rabbet.
- Insert the corner plates into the remaining frame section and attach them to the sides. Gently tighten.
- Adjust the corners as needed, then tighten all screws firmly to secure the frame.
4. Secure the Contents
- Take the spring clips and evenly space them around the back channel of the frame.
- Flex each clip and insert it between the frame edge and the backing board to hold everything in place.
5. Add the Finishing Touches
- Position one wire hanger into each side channel of the frame, typically about 1/3 of the way down from the top.
- Tighten the screws to secure the hangers.
- Loop the wire between the two hangers and twist the ends to secure it.
- Attach the wall protectors to the bottom corners of the frame to prevent wall damage.
Once the final touches are in place, your metal frame is complete and ready to display your artwork.
