Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions
1. Unpack Materials and Insert Your Canvas
- Place the frame face up on your work surface.
- The frame includes a float gap, so it's helpful to use cardboard or wood pieces as shims to center and align your canvas during the assembly process.
2. Attach the Canvas
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, insert the provided screws into the pre-drilled holes on the frame, securing the stretched canvas to the frame.
- Important: Ensure your stretcher bars are at least as thick as the 7/8” screws. If not, you’ll need to purchase shorter screws to ensure proper fit.
3. Tighten It Up
- Double-check that your canvas is square within the frame. Adjust if needed to ensure proper alignment.
- Once the canvas is positioned correctly, tighten all screws firmly to secure it in place.
4. Add the Finishing Touches
- Position one wire hanger on each side of the frame, typically about 1/3 of the way down from the top.
- Tighten the screws on the hangers to secure them.
- Loop the wire between the two hangers, then twist the ends of the wire to keep it secure.
- Attach the wall protectors to the bottom corners of the frame to prevent wall damage.
After completing these steps, your wood canvas frame is ready to display your artwork with ease.
