If your frame was ordered unassembled, please follow the instructions for assembling the wood frame before proceeding with the steps outlined below.

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

1. Prepare Your Art Stack

  • Begin by attaching your art to the mat board or backing board.
  • Peel off any protective layers from the acrylic, then carefully stack the acrylic on top of your artwork. Set the entire stack aside for now.

2. Insert the Materials

  • Position the frame face down on a flat surface.
  • Place the art stack inside the frame, ensuring the acrylic rests securely on the lip of the frame.

3. Secure the Contents: You Have Options

You have three methods to secure your art stack inside the frame. Choose the one that best suits your frame setup.

(a) If Your Frame Arrived with Pre-installed Points:

  • If your frame includes pre-installed points that match your desired stack depth, simply insert your art stack and bend the points back down to secure the contents in place.
  • If the points do not meet your preferred depth, use pliers to remove them and proceed with one of the other methods below.

(b) If You Have a Point Driver:

  • Secure your art stack in place by using the point driver to insert the points into the frame. This will hold the art securely.

(c) To Secure Using Spring Clips:

  • Evenly space the spring clips around the back of the frame.
  • Secure each clip in place using the small screws provided.
  • Adjust the clips as needed to ensure they apply pressure on the backing board, keeping your art securely in position.

4. Add the Finishing Touches

Attaching Wire:

  • Mark the desired positions for the two wire hangers on the back of the frame (approximately 1/3 of the way down from the top of each side).
  • Use screws to fasten each hanger securely.
  • Loop the wire between the two hangers, then twist the ends of the wire to lock it in place.

For Smaller Frames:

  • A sawtooth hanger is provided for smaller frames. Simply attach the sawtooth hanger to the back of the frame using the screws provided.

Adding Wall Protectors:

  • Attach the two wall protectors to the bottom corners of the frame. These protectors help prevent damage to the wall surface when hanging.

Once all components are secured and the finishing touches are added, your wood frame is ready for hanging. Enjoy displaying your art!
