# How do I order just a frame?
## To order just a frame, select your style, color, and size, then choose ‘None’ for the mat, backing board, and acrylic. For pre-matted artwork, enter the mat size as the Art Size and select ‘None’ for the mat board to reuse it.
### Steps to Order Just a Frame
#### 1. **Select Frame Options**
- Begin by choosing the desired frame style, color, and size in either [Wood](https://www.americanframe.com/picture-frames/wood-picture-frames)or [Metal.](https://www.americanframe.com/picture-frames/metal-picture-frames)
- Click on the blue **Customize** button.
If you are framing a piece of art that is already matted and you wish to reuse the existing mat, enter the matted size as the **Art Size** during the ordering process.
#### 2. **Mat Board Options**
- When prompted to select a mat board, choose ‘None’. This indicates that you do not want a mat included with your frame.
#### 3. **Backing Board Options**
- Similarly, when selecting a backing board, also choose ‘None’.
#### 4. **Acrylic Options**
- If you do not wish to include acrylic plexi-glass, select ‘None’ in the acrylic options. This is particularly useful if you already have a piece of glass or acrylic or you prefer to display your artwork without it.
