Understanding Oversize Handling Fees for Shipping

Oversize handling fees apply to items over 74 combined inches or that cannot fit in standard shipping boxes. These fees are listed separately from product pricing and are essential for the safe packaging and transport of larger shipments.

What Are Oversize Handling Fees?

Oversize handling fees are charges imposed by the shipping company for additional services required to prepare and transport your order. These fees will be applied if the total outside dimensions of your items exceed 74 combined inches (length plus width) or if they cannot be accommodated within our standard shipping boxes, which measure 33" x 46" or 34" x 34".

Separate from Product Pricing

We keep the extra handling fees separate from the product pricing to provide transparency. This means that when you place an order, the cost of the product will be listed independently from any handling charges that may apply during shipping. You will see these costs appear when selecting a shipping method during checkout.

Why Are These Fees Necessary?

Oversize handling fees are essential for guaranteeing that your items are packaged and transported safely. These fees help offset the costs associated with the extra precautions and specialized handling required for larger shipments.
