Border Options for Loose Prints

We add a 1-inch border to fine art paper prints and a 1.5-inch border to rolled or laminated canvas prints. For a larger border, adjust your image in editing software before uploading to ensure it fits your mat board requirements.

• Fine Art Paper: We routinely add a 1-inch border to prints made on fine art paper. This border allows for easy handling and signing of your artwork.
• Canvas Prints: For canvases ordered rolled or laminated, we add a 1.5-inch border to accommodate framing and display needs.

Customizing Your Border

Adding a Larger Border

If you require a larger border for signing or framing purposes:

• Image Editing: You can create a larger border by adding it to your image using Photoshop or other image editing software before uploading it for printing.
• Ensure Compatibility: When preparing your image, make sure that any borders align with your framing plans, especially if you intend to order mat boards that will require specific opening sizes.
